this is it

This is it. The great adventure. When life slaps me in the face and worry sneaks up behind me, a gentle Voice on the wind reminds me. "This is the great adventure." Is life useless? Am I wandering around for nothing? No...I'm doing the great adventure, for I am God's child and doing His will. Nothing can separate us. Nothing can pull me from His love.
Sitting at dinner tonight, at our friend's house, I realized again how blessed I am. Lasanga, salad, biscuits, Dr. Pepper---could it get richer than this? Just as I count those wonderful blessings of friendship and food, I think of those who have nothing. Or those who have lost loved ones in this war. In our own church with military families, guys are leaving. Makes me wonder about the great adventure.
Since life is a rollar coaster, I'm glad I know Who controls the ride. And I'm glad He knows me.
