My Writing

I am in love. In love with the written word. I fill journal after journal, and notebook after notebook of poetry and scribblings. Some of those scribblings have made their way to publication. PrayKids! magazine published one story last July/August. The editor of that same mag contacted me earlier this year and asked for another story.....she didn't have to ask twice! The next story is coming out sometime soon.
A small, largely unknown mag published a short article of mine last October. I'm glad for the credit it gets me. My Rejection Letter file grows by the week, letter by letter of 'we're sorry, but...'. Somehow this makes me more dauntless, more resolved to do more writing. Every word that is typed or scribbled has been prayed over. I beg the Lord for creativity for my pen. If my writing does not please my Saviour, then it is not worth reading or working on.
The novel grows....word by word. The research is killing me. I think I have enough done and then wam! I add another angle that needs research just so I know I'm writing the truth. Haahaa.
